Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 17 August 2025
Business name: Ciima (“we”, “us”, “our”)
Location: London, United Kingdom
Contact: info@ciima.tv
These terms set the ground rules for using our website, working with us on shoots, and participating in the Ciima Community. They’re written to be clear and human. If you have questions, email us.
1) Project & Shoot Terms (contract-first)
Every shoot or project is governed by its own contract (e.g., a Statement of Work / Production Agreement). That document will set out—case by case—scope, deliverables, timelines, fees, expenses, approvals, usage rights/licensing, confidentiality, cancellations/postponements, health & safety, permits, insurances, credits, and any other production specifics.
If anything in these website terms conflicts with a signed project contract, the contract wins.
2) Ciima Community (membership)
We run a private community for artists, athletes, creators and collaborators.
2.1 Eligibility & access
-
Access is for approved members only. We may refuse or revoke access at our discretion (e.g., breach of conduct or non-payment).
-
Your login is personal—don’t share it.
2.2 Subscriptions & payment
-
Community access is subscription-based (monthly or annual, as offered).
-
If a payment fails or isn’t received, we’ll notify you. If it remains unpaid for 14 days, your community access will be suspended/removed until payment is made.
-
Reinstatement happens once the outstanding amount is settled. Access time isn’t extended to cover any suspension period.
-
Refunds are not issued for partial periods unless required by law.
2.3 Conduct (be a good human)
-
No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, threats or illegal activity.
-
No doxxing or sharing private information without consent.
-
No spam or disruptive self-promotion; keep shares relevant and transparent.
-
Respect NDAs and confidentiality for sensitive work.
-
Treat other members and moderators with respect.
We may warn, mute, suspend or remove members who breach these rules.
2.4 Content in the community
-
You own the content you post. By posting, you grant Ciima a non-exclusive licence to display your content within the community for the purpose of operating it.
-
Don’t upload anything you don’t have rights to share.
2.5 Changes to the community
-
We may add, change or remove features. We’ll try to give reasonable notice where changes are material.
3) Website use
-
Don’t misuse the site (no hacking, scraping, reverse engineering, or uploading malicious code).
-
We may link to third-party platforms; they have their own terms and privacy practices.
-
All site content (unless stated otherwise) belongs to Ciima. Please don’t copy, distribute or adapt without permission.
4) Portfolio & publicity
We love to showcase work—but only where appropriate.
-
For public projects, we may display selected work in our portfolio, reels and social channels, respecting any agreed crediting.
-
For confidential projects, we’ll follow the signed contract (including redaction or no-show rules).
5) Confidentiality
We keep your private information and sensitive project details confidential in line with our contracts and Privacy Policy.
6) Disclaimers & liability (website/community)
-
The website and community are provided “as is” and “as available”. We try to keep everything running smoothly but can’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
-
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or community. Nothing here limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
(Project-specific liability and insurance positions are set out in each contract.)
7) Termination
We may suspend or terminate website/community access if you breach these terms, the law, or any applicable contract. You may cancel your community subscription at any time; access will continue until the end of the paid period.
8) Privacy
How we collect and use personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. Please read it.
9) Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll post a notice on the site or in the community and update the effective date above
.
10) Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
